The Noah Strain
The Noah strain was developed especially for non-irrigated fields in areas with low precipitation,
and is suitable for the desert border. The Noah strain can be grown in both non-irrigated and
partially irrigated fields.
The Noah strain ripens early, and flowers earlier than other varieties.
Noah is a dwarf strain; the plants grow to about 80 centimeters in height.
The plants of the Noah strain have reduced foliage, conserve water and do not bend easily.
The Noah strain is highly stress-tolerant.
This strain has seeds similar to those of the Omer and Gitit strains. The seeds, developed to
satisfy market demands, are light in color.
The Noah strain yields large crops, between 2400 - 3200 kilograms per hectare,
even under harsh conditions (without irrigation or with partial irrigation).
